Nicole Grimm | Flow Into Nature

Tell us about yourself and your work:

Hi there, I am Nicole! My dream is to open a donation based Pilgrim's Hostel and Yoga Retreat Center on the Camino de Santiago, the Camino del Norte route. I want to create a safe place for people to come together who are interested in finding inner peace, in exploring the world, in meeting like minded souls. Yoga and the Camino have truly transformed my life and given me tools to come back to myself, to feel full and joyful. I want to help others feel this way too. Currently I am a yoga teacher, English Second language teacher and hydrogeologist working on sustainability projects - a little bit of everything to help me reach me dream! I am so grateful for finding Wanderwell and connecting with others who are living outside the box.

In your own words, what does it mean to “wander well”?

For me, wandering well means wandering with the intention of connection: connecting with Self, connecting with other beings, connecting with nature, connecting with culutre and food, and connecting with the world around you.

Anything else you’d like to share with the community?

I love the philosophy that you can choose happy. No matter what happens, you can always choose to find the lessons learned, the little things to be grateful for, you can choose to keep your heart open and be happy to be alive. Adopting this mindset has helped me find inner peace and trust in the universe. If you want to learn more check out the teachings from Thich Nhat Hanh.
